Human intelligence comes first. That is the starting point of the Worth in Motion (WiM) framework, which brings four areas of growth together: IQ, EQ, AQ and SQ. As the supplied framework explains, these four skills help you make sense of information, connect with people and use technology with intention.

Led by CEO Talitha Bothma, Worth in Motion invites people to consider both what they bring and how they make that value visible. The framework below is credited to WiM; the accompanying reflections have been adapted by Africa Rising TV for this blog.

IQ — Know what matters

Find the knowledge and skills that serve your direction in a world overflowing with information.

The emphasis is on relevance: identifying what you need to learn for the direction you want to take, rather than treating every new piece of information as equally important.

EQ — Lead yourself well

Understand your emotions, meet challenges with perspective and connect with others with empathy.

Self-awareness and empathy support the way people respond to difficulty and work with others. This part of the framework places personal leadership alongside practical skills.

AQ — Make your value heard

Tell your story and communicate your strengths so people understand what you bring.

Here, WiM focuses on communicating value. A clear account of your skills, experience and contribution helps others understand the role you can play.

SQ — Build real connections

Grow relationships and a network that can open doors in the real world and online.

The focus moves from visibility to relationships: building connections with people, both in person and through an intentional online presence.

Take something home

A clearer story about who you are, stronger language for what you bring, ideas for a purposeful online presence and a practical introduction to AI.

Together, these four areas connect personal direction with how we learn, communicate and relate to others. The framework is also featured in WiM’s Build the Builders event materials.
